Reporting Models

Graduate recruitment initiatives are a complex, time consuming and costly human resource undertaking. Defensibility with graduate programs requires organisations to understand exactly what it was they did, what it cost, and where the best results were achieved. These aspects of your program are critical components of a comprehensive review, and should form the basis of your continuous improvement process.

One of the financial reporting issues faced by many organisations is that programs often span across multiple financial years, making accurate program costs difficult to ascertain. Program improvements can therefore be difficult to identify unless the program is accurately reviewed, assessed, and reported on, and program costs cannot be decreased unless they are identified.

Reporting is critical to the overall measurement and improvement to any graduate recruitment program, and in many instances, can be more accurate if undertaken by an independent third party – much like an independent audit.
